The Human Development Forum is a division of Tudor Rose, built on a legacy of close collaboration with UN agencies, UN member states and civil sector organisations, committed to transforming our world.

A BETTER WORLD VOL 9

A BETTER WORLD VOL 9 A publication created as companion and outreach media for stakeholder institutions participating in the 2023 SDG Summit. It contains thought leadership statements from the highest levels of civil society, keynote reports from active stakeholders in the implementation of the SDGs and a dynamic series of evidence-based contributions governments, international organizations, the private sector, civil society, women and youth and other stakeholders.

Tomorrow Today was published for UNESCO in 2010 as part of ongoing efforts in promoting the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD) (2005–2014). The book features more than 75 authors relating their work in education for sustainable development.

Digital Outreach was created in collaboration with ITU, the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technology issues. Launched at the World Conference on Disaster Reduction in Kobe, Japan, in 2004, Know Risk is a collaboration between Tudor Rose and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) to show how people around the world are living with natural and related environmental and technological risks, detailing how they are trying to reduce their exposure to disasters.

DESALINATION AND WATER RE-USE

The sister publication to Freshwater Future, Desalination & Water Re-Use was published in December 2003 to address solutions to global freshwater challenges in preparation for 2005–2015, designated the International Decade for Action ‘Water for Life’

Published in July 2003, Freshwater Future formed an integral part of the International Year of Freshwater in 2003. The book provides a comprehensive view of water projects and initiatives supported by the UN, giving all agencies and organisations dedicated to protecting global water resources a chance to commit publicly to improving the world’s water supplies

NATURAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT

Published 1999, Natural Disaster Management was produced to mark the end of the International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR), a United Nations initiative to reduce the negative effects of natural disasters.
